Myrtle I. (Miller) Wessner, 90, of Hamburg, Pa. passed away in her residence on Saturday, January 14, 2017. She was preceeded in death by her husband Edgar P.“Jack” Wessner in 1999. She was born in Albany Township, a daughter of the late Clayton A. and Emma E. (Pauley) Miller. She was employed at the Exide Battery Co., Hamburg, for 43 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of New Bethel Church, Kempton, Pa.; the Centerport Vol. Fire Co. and a Life Member of the Kempton Fire Co. She is survived by her daughter Sandra M. Heinly of Temple, Pa.; two granddaughters,Jacqueline and Tammy Bailey; four great-grandchildren and a great-great grandaughter, Mia. She was also predeceased by two great-great grandchildren. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, (Route 143), Pa. 18066 with a calling hour beginning at 10:00 AM. Rev. David W. Blitch will officiate. Interment will take place in New Bethel Union Cemetery, Kempton, Pa
