Marguerite A. Dotterer, 96, of Orefield, Pa., passed away in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest facility, on Saturday night August 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred S. Dotterer in 1994. She was born in Allentown, a daughter of the late George H. and Nettie A. (Mitman) Fenstermacher. She worked in the wiring department at the Allen Organ Co., Macungie, Pa. for 24 years, retiring in 1981. Marguerite was the oldest member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli. She was also a member of North Chapter Number 457, Order of Eastern Star, Coopersburg, Pa.
She is survived by three sisters, May E. Stocker, Bethlehem, Irene A., wife of Carl F. Dotterer, Kempton and Alberta F. Haas, Topton, Pa., a brother, George R.Fenstermacher, Macungie and a half-sister, Rev. Elaine L. Bogert, Kutztown. She was predeceased by siblings, Gilbert Hess, Elinor Rodenbach, Glenn Fenstermacher and a step-mother, Marie M.( Hoch) Fenstermacher.
Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Road, New Tripoli, Pa. 18066, with a calling hour beginning at 10:00 AM. Rev. Raymond J. Hand will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions, in her memory, are requested to Weisenberg Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, sent to the above church address.
