I grew up in Topton and knew Linda from grade school and high school. We spent many summer days and nights together walking around town, stopping in at the drug store for a cherry coke or sundae. I remember going to the Kutztown fair and block parties in Topton. She always made me laugh with her dry sense of humor. After high school we lost touch but reunited years later when we were both young mothers. She was so proud of her family. Her husband and daughter were precious to her. A few years ago I bumped into her again at Friedens Church. She was now a proud grandma and even though her disease had taken a toll on her body she lit up when we talked and reminisced about the old days in Topton and Kutztown. Rest in peace my friend. Kaye
