Carl B. Miller, Sr.

Carl B. Miller, Sr., 86, of Allentown, formerly of Lynnport, passed away on Tuesday evening, May 2, 2017 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, Pa.  He was preceeded in death by his wife, Betty J. (Frantz) Miller in 2014. He was born in Heidelberg Township, a son of the late Ralph and Maggie L. (Billig) Miller.  He was employed as a union carpenter until retiring in 1993.  He is survived by three daughters, Linda M. Miller of Orefield, Sandra E.wife of Ray E. Kline of Bally, Pa. and Cindy M. wife of Scott Erney of New Ringgold, Pa; a son, Carl B. (Jennie) Miller, Jr. of New Tripoli; sixteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his two sons, Terry and Charles “Chip” Miller, a sister, Marie Frey and brothers, Earl and Ralph Miller.   His Memorial Service will be held in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Pa. 18066 on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 4:00 PM , with a calling hour beginning at 3:00 PM.  Rev. James W. LeVan will officiate. A time of fellowship and food will directly follow the Memorial Service at the Lynnport Fire Co.  Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
