William M. “Bill” Herishko, 81, of Allentown, PA passed away at Cornerstone Living in New Tripoli on May 6, 2022. He was the loving husband of Mary Ann (Griffith) Herishko, with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage on May 29, 2021. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary Rose (DeFiore) Herishko. Bill was a 1958 graduate of Allen High School in Allentown. He later went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Kutztown State College in 1962. Bill worked as a research chemist for twenty years for the former Allentown Paint, later working for Atlas Minerals in Mertztown for sixteen years, and then worked part-time for the former Benchmark Analytical in Allentown for nine years until retiring. Bill was a dedicated father who was proud of his two daughters, Joanne and Jenn, and adored his two grandkids, Stephanie and Ethan. Bill loved watching sports of his beloved Red Sox and Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed league bowling. In addition to his wife, survivors include his daughters, Joanne G. Herishko of Harleysville, PA and Jennifer A. (James C.) Morykin of Pen Argyl, PA.; grandchildren, James E. and Stephanie A. Morykin; brother, Thomas (Illiana) Herishko of Haddon Twp, NJ. There will be a memorial service held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Cedar Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1700 Airport Road Allentown PA 18109. Pastor Chris Druckenmiller of St. Peter’s Plainfield Lutheran Church will officiate.
