Virginia E. Henninger, 88, of Topton, formerly of Kutztown and Kempton, Pa. died Thurs. May 30, 2013 in the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was preceeded in death by her husband Osville K. Henninger in 1991. She was born in Topton, a daughter of the late William and Carrie ( Weller) Steffy. Virginia was employed as a machine operator for the former Wenton Shoe Factory in Kutztown, until retiring in 1980. She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Stony Run, Pa. Survivors includes two sons, Kenneth C. Henninger, Pottstown; Donald L. Henninger and his wife Bonnie of Kutztown; three daughters Diane T. wife of Terry Ritzman, West Hamburg, Pa; Carol A. wife of Timothy Seidel and Christine F. wife of Norman Loiselle both of Valrico, FL; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by sisters Mabel Fink, Mae Foulke, Arline Rothermel, June Bieber and brothers Jay, William, Harvey,Ernest and Lee Steffy. A private graveside service will take place in the New Bethel Union Cemetery, Kempton, Pa., with Rev. Melissa Lemons officiating. Contributions in her memory are requested to the Friedens Luth.
