Trevor Brady Shaffer, 28, of Kempton, PA, passed away on August 11, 2024 in Albany Township. Born in Allentown, PA, he was the son of Chilton V. Shaffer of Kempton, PA, and Michele L. (Obyle) Shaffer of Dauphin, PA.
Trevor was a 2014 graduate of the Kutztown Area High School. He later attended Bloomsburg University with a focus in Business Finance. Trevor last worked as a wire assembler at East Penn Manufacturing in Kutztown. He was an avid motocross racer. Beginning at the early age of 5 years, he raced in numerous events and made many friends along the way. In 2007, he achieved a national title by competing at the AMA National Arenacross Series in Las Vegas. Trevor also enjoyed snowboarding; and recently began to enjoy golfing, especially while with his two brothers.
Trevor is survived by his loving parents, Chilton and Michele; brothers, Zakary S. and Carson H. Shaffer, both of Dauphin, PA.; paternal grandfather, Michael V. Shaffer of Missoula, MT; maternal grandmother, Sarah A. Heck of Hamburg and her companion, Douglas Potteiger; uncle, Jason Heck of Hamburg; aunt, Amber Shaffer and husband, Robert Rasmussen of Missoula, MT; aunt, Lanette C. Shaffer and husband, Martin Kovach of Schnecksville.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Arlene Shaffer; maternal great-grandparents, Ralph J. and Sarah C. Obyle.
There will be a celebration of life service held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11 AM at the Kempton Rod and Gun Club, 192 Pine Creek Road Kempton, PA. The calling hour will begin at 10 AM. Interment following service in New Bethel Union Cemetery in Kempton, PA. Rev. James W. LeVan will officiate.
