Scott T. Betz

Scott T. Betz, 56, of Catasauqua, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 15, 2026. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Timothy J. Betz and Irene M. (Smith) Betz of Catasauqua, with whom he last resided.

Scott was a 1987 graduate of Catasauqua High School. He earned an Associate Degree in Computer Networking from Lincoln Technical Institute in Allentown.  Scott dedicated twenty years of service as a technician with Palram Americas in Kutztown. Intelligent and naturally curious, he had a sharp mind and a talent for understanding how things worked. Despite his knowledge and abilities, Scott remained humble and unassuming. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor, often bringing laughter to family gatherings with his well-timed jokes and playful personality. A devoted and caring uncle, Scott cherished the time he spent with his niece and nephews. He was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his friends and family.

In addition to his loving mother, Irene, he is survived by his sisters, Michelle K. (Joby) Bauer of Catasauqua and Erica I. (Michael) Brandi of Fogelsville; three nephews, one niece, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at Nester Funeral Home, New Tripoli, with Rev. Stanley C. Newton officiating. Private interment will follow at Frieden's Lutheran Cemetery, Kempton.
