Russell O. Strunk

Russell O. Strunk, 92, of Kempton, PA, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest in Allentown, PA. He was the widower of Anna E. (Kline) Strunk who passed away in 2022. Born in Kempton, he was the son of the late Peter and Florence (Burkert) Strunk.

Russell was a 1949 graduate of Kutztown High School. He was a member, former choir member, and consistory man of New Bethel Church in Kempton. He was also a member of the New Bethel Cemetery Association.

Survivors include his daughter, Darlene C. Kunkel of Kempton; son, Dennis C. (Carol A.) Strunk of Kempton; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Goldie (James) Schittler of Oley, PA. He was predeceased by his son, David Strunk, and his brothers, Peter and Henry Strunk.  

Russell’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11 AM in New Bethel Church, 135 New Bethel Church Road Kempton. The calling hour will begin at 10 AM. Rev. Robert Ziehmer will officiate. Interment immediately following funeral service in the adjoining cemetery.
