Ruby G. (Knecht) Dietrich

Ruby G. (Knecht) Dietrich, 100, of Allentown, PA, formerly of Macungie, PA, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2023 at Luther Crest Skilled Nursing Home in Allentown. Ruby was the widow of Harold O. Dietrich, who passed away in 1995. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Emory C. and Rose T. (Koverick) Knecht. She was lovingly raised by John and Ellen Bond.

Ruby was an avid walker, loved Word Search, Bingo and the Game Show Network, especially the shows Chain Reaction and Cash Cab.  She was a member of New Bethel Church in Kempton, PA. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Ruby was predeceased by her sisters, Arlene Hockman and Joyce Meckes. 

Ruby's funeral service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 10:30 AM in the Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli, PA. Calling hour begins at 9:30 AM. Interment in New Bethel Union Cemetery, Kempton.  Pastor Randy Bond will officiate.
