Rose M. (Muth) Moyer, 80, of Kempton, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 8, 2025. She was the loving wife of James W. Moyer, with whom she celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on May 18, 2024. Born in Breinigsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alton Muth, Sr. and Maude (Smith) Muth.
Rose was a 1963 graduate of Parkland High School. She last worked as a pharmacy technician for the Health Spectrum Pharmacy at Lehigh Valley Hospital until retiring in 2008. Rose was a member of Jacob’s Church in New Tripoli, where she established the children’s puppet ministry, often making her own puppets. She also managed the card ministry at Jacob’s Church to help serve those who were sick or going through hard times. Rose was a very generous and caring person and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her devoted husband, James, she is survived by her son, Michael D. (Suzanne) Moyer of Germansville, PA; daughter, Amy (Sean) Wright of Nicholson, PA; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Alton (Barbara) Muth, Jr. of Albutris, PA; sisters, Nancy Vuchak of Bowmanstown, PA, and Gloria (Raymond) Lamp of Bernville, PA. She was predeceased by her sisters Shirley Carl and Madelyn Muth.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 11 AM in Jacob’s Church, 8373 Kings Highway New Tripoli, PA, with a visitation period from 10 AM until the service. Rev. Stanley Newton will officiate.
