Ronald H. Weaver 74, of Kempton, Pa. passed away on July 30, 2013 in the Reading Hospital and Med. Center, W. Reading, Pa. He was the husband of Helen O.(Snyder)
Weaver, having celebrated their 52nd. wedding anniversary this past July. He was born in Albany Township, a son of Blanche M. ( Bailey) Weaver of Kempton, Pa. and the late Harold D. Weaver. A 1961 graduate of Indiana Tech., Ft. Wayne , Ind. with a B.S.in Civil Engineering and later he obtained his Pa. Professional Engineering License. He was a Registered County Engineer of Berks County for 34 years until retiring in 2000. Ron started his working career as a civil engineer at the Wyoming State Highway Dept., Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School, class of 1956.
Ron was a member of New Bethel Church, Kempton, Pa.; the Kempton Rod and Gun Club; the Kempton Fire Co. and the Central Fire Co., Laureldale, Pa. He was an avid Phillies fan and outdoorsman, who loved saltwater fishing and hunting. Survivors besides his wife and mother includes 2 sons, Michael C. Weaver, Kennesaw, Georgia ; Darren R. Weaver at home and a sister Marlene B. Fink, Mertztown, Pa. His Funeral Service will be held on Sat. August 3, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway ( Rt. 143), New Tripoli, Pa. 18066, with a calling hour beginning at 10:00 A.M. Ray A. Seidel, Lay Minister, officiating. Burial in New Bethel Union Cemetery, Kempton, Pa. In Lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to MD.
