Roger C. Noss

Roger C. Noss, 89, formerly of Kempton, PA, passed away on March 2, 2025 in Bethlehem, PA. He was the widower of the late Jean S. (Adam) Noss, who passed away in 1999. Born in Barto, PA, he was the son of the late Reinhold and Beatrice (Buchanan) Noss.

Roger worked as a machine operator for the Glen Gery Brick Co. in Shoemakersville, PA for over forty years until retiring in 1997. He loved farming and particularly enjoyed hauling hay for his neighbor to various farms throughout Lancaster County. He also enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. Roger attended Jacob’s Church in New Tripoli, PA. 

Survivors include his daughters, Brenda L. Noss, with whom he last resided, and Lorraine J. Henninger of Wyomissing, PA; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley, Esther, Ruth, and Irene. He was predeceased by his son, David, and siblings, Jean, Sandra, Lester, Leroy, and Lloyd.

Roger’s funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11 AM in Jacob’s Church, 8373 Kings Highway New Tripoli, with a calling hour at 10 AM. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Stanley C. Newton will officiate.
