Robert E. Stufflet

Robert E. Stufflet, 73, of New Ringgold, PA passed away peacefully at home on March 16, 2025. He was the loving husband of Susan D. (Follweiler) Stufflet having celebrated 21 years of marriage in April 2024.  Born in Colorado Springs, CO, he was the son of the late Sterling E. Stufflet and Doris E. (Cheeks) Stufflet of Topton, PA.

Bob graduated from Parkland High School and served his country in the US Army before attending Penn State University and eventually graduating from Kutztown University with a bachelor’s degree in history. Bob taught history for one year at Parkland High School before deciding to enter the PA State Police Academy. He served as a state police officer across the state for many years. Bob then launched his own sporting goods business, Blue Mountain Sporting Goods in Hamburg, PA during the 1990’s. He also worked at Glen-Gery Brick in Shoemakersville, PA, until retiring in 2016. Bob was a member of Jacob’s Church in New Tripoli, PA.

In addition to his devoted wife and mother, he is survived by his sons, Douglas of Hamburg, Matthew (Ashley) of Reading; stepdaughter, Jennifer Dzedzy of Fogelsville; stepson, Christopher (Kerry) Phillips of Aynor, SC; six grandchildren.

Robert's Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 11 AM at St. Peter's Lynnville UCC Church, 5129 Schochary Road New Tripoli, PA. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Pastor Sterling Ritter and Rev. Scott L. Shay will officiate.
