Robert W. "Bobby" Oswald

Robert W. “Bobby” Oswald, 77, of New Tripoli, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Wayne J. and Alice B. (Hermany) Oswald.

Bobby was a  graduate of Northwestern High School in New Tripoli. Upon graduation, Bobby went on to work for the former Bamberger’s Service Station in New Tripoli. He later worked in the maintenance department of the former Contel Telephone Company then later for Verizon at the New Tripoli Sub Station, until retirement. Bobby was a former attendee of Jacob’s Church in New Tripoli.  In the early 1960’s, he was a member of Earl Keller’s “Little Jiggers” Square Dance Team.

Survivors include his cousins, Sarah A. Bailey of New Tripoli, and Richard A. “Ricky” Bailey, Jr. of Kempton; close friends, Wayne D. "Jack" (Janet) Snyder of New Tripoli.

There will be a private graveside funeral service held at Jacob’s Union Cemetery in New Tripoli.
