Ralph Grassi

Ralph Grassi, 83, of Manheim, PA, passed away peacefully and was embraced by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 8, 2023 in the Hospice and Community Care Inpatient Center in Mount Joy, PA. He was the loving husband of Joy E. (Poulette) Grassi, with whom he celebrated 60 years of marriage in December of 2022. Born in Paterson, NJ, he was a son of the late Ralph & late Anna Grassi. Ralph served as a Pastor at Northern Valley Evangelical Free Church (now known as Grace Community Church) and Newportville Community Church in Newportville, PA for many years until retirement. After stepping down from the pulpit, Ralph continued to share his love of the Savior at every opportunity.

In addition to his devoted wife, Joy, he is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Joy (Arthur) Woods, with whom he last resided; sons, Jonathan David (Claudette) Grassi of Lancaster, PA, Ralph Timothy (Cathy) Grassi of Branson, MO, and Andrew Thomas (Janel) Grassi of Springfield, MO; four grandchildren, English Rose Kirsch, Amanda Harrold, Joseph Grassi, and Jessica Anne Grassi; one great- granddaughter, Juliette Kirsch and multiple nieces and nephews. Ralph is predeceased by his six siblings.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 12:00 PM in Grace Community Church, 7343 Gun Club Road New Tripoli, PA, with a visitation hour to begin at 11:00 AM. Private Interment in New Bethel Cemetery, Kempton, PA. Pastor Arthur C. Woods II will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ralph’s name may be made to Missionaries to Cambodia Heap and Jennifer Him @ NOVO 1240 N. Lakeview Ave. Suite 120 Anaheim CA 92807-1847.
