Obituary

Paul D. Schellhamer, 96, of New Tripoli, PA. passed away on January 20, 2022 at Complete Care at Berkshire in Reading PA. He was the loving husband of the late Arlene E. (Lentz) Schellhamer, who passed away on November 7, 2021. Born in Berks County, PA., he was the son of the late Howard C. and Martha L. (Burkhart) Schellhamer. Paul was a 1943 graduate of Slatington High School. He later began his career as a chemical worker, having last worked for the former IMC Company and former Trojan Powder Company for 30 years until retiring in 1985. He was a member of Ebenezer U.C.C. Church, New Tripoli, PA. Survivors include his son, Randy P. (Kristin) Schellhamer of Womelsdorf, PA; daughters, Linda A. (Marvin) Heck of Blandon, PA, and Karen D. (Randy) Dietrich of Wanamakers, PA; six grandchildren, Matthew (Stacy) Heck, Stephanie (Steve) Miller, Natalie Schellhamer, Daniel Schellhamer, Julie (Bradford) Byler, and Haley (Kenneth) Pilat; six great-grandchildren, Connor and McKenzie Heck, Caleb and Jacob Miller, Sophia Pilat, and Nathan Byler. Paul was predeceased by his sister, Grace Snyder. A private graveside interment will be held on the Ebenezer Union Cemetery, New Tripoli, PA.
