Norman A. Ulrich, Jr., 77, of Kutztown, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, December 2, 2023. He was the husband of the late Georgeanne K. (Schmidbauer) Ulrich, who passed away this past June. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Norman A. Ulrich, Sr. and the late Marie F. (McCall) Ulrich.
Norman was a 1964 graduate of Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, PA. He later earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, PA. After graduation, Norman worked for the National Can Company in Fogelsville, PA for 12 years. He then went on to become the Vice President of Operations for the Can Corporation of America in Blandon, PA, for 38 years until retiring. Norman was a 51 year member of the Huguenot Lodge # 377 F.&A.M. in Kutztown, PA.
Survivors include his sons, Norman A. Ulrich, III (Heather) of Oley, PA, George M. (Luanne) Ulrich of Douglasville, PA; daughter, Kimberly A. (Brian) Trexler of Kempton, PA; grandchildren, Norman A. Ulrich, IV, Jenna and Alysha Ulrich, Casey (Josh) Owen, Amber (Andrew) Dietrich, and Jairus (Ashley) Trexler. He was predeceased by his sister, Ann M. Wachtendorf.
Norman’s funeral service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Nester Funeral Home, 8405 King's Highway New Tripoli, PA 18066. Calling hour at 10:00 AM. Huguenot Lodge # 377 Memorial Service 10:45 A.M. Interment following service in Ebenezer Union Cemetery, New Tripoli. Rev. Stanley Newton will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Shriner’s Hospital and/or Make a Wish Foundation, C/O funeral home.
