Norman C. Kershner, 89, of Kempton, PA. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on December 25, 2020. He was the husband of the late Mary M. (Snyder) Kershner, who passed away in 2001. He was born in Greenwich Township, PA., a son to the late Harry J. and Jennie K. (Seip) Kershner. Norman was a truck driver for various bulk haulers, last working for Clarence W. Dietrich Milk Hauling in Lenhartsville, PA. for forty years until retirement. He was also a self-employed farmer in the Greenwich Township area. Norman was a member of New Bethel Church, Kempton, PA., the Kempton Rod and Gun Club, and Kempton Fire Co. Survivors include his daughter, Justine B. wife of Keith Danenhower, Kempton, PA., with whom he last resided; two grandchildren, Abigail K. and Benjamin N. Danenhower; two great-grandchildren, Charles L. Stein and Ava R. Danenhower. He was predeceased by his siblings, Effie Wagner, Mabel Himmelberger, Verna Heffner, Esther Biehl, Anna Hemerly, and Stanley, Paul, Mildred, Elsie, and Richard Kershner. There will be a private funeral service at the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, New Tripoli, PA., followed by a private interment in New Bethel Union Cemetery, Kempton, PA. Rev. David L. Long will officiate.
