Nevin G. Dietrich, 87, of Allentown, PA., formerly of New Tripoli, PA., passed away on June 6, 2021 in the Phoebe Home, Allentown, PA. He was the loving husband of Arlene M. (Williams) Dietrich, having celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary in August of 2020. Born in Kempton, PA., he was the son of the late Edgar H. and Mabel E. (Fenstermaker) Dietrich. Nevin was a 1953 graduate of Slatington High School. He was a member of New Jerusalem Red Church in Kempton, PA. Nevin was last employed as a truck driver for National Freight Co. in Fogelsville, PA. Prior to that, he drove for Quality Carrier, Chemical Leaman Co., and George V. Seiple and Sons. Before starting his career as a truck driver, Nevin was a self-employed farmer in Kempton, PA. In addition to his devoted wife, survivors include his two sons Roger N. Dietrich of Kempton, PA., and Donald T. (Lori) Dietrich of Slatington, PA.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Robert E. Dietrich, Sr., and siblings Ernest F. and Edna M. Dietrich. Nevin’s graveside service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM on the New Jerusalem Cemetery, 15 Red Church Road Kempton, PA 19529. Rev. Robert Billig, Jr. will officiate.
