Mildred D. (Loeb) Bailey, 82, of Lenhartsville, PA, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025 in Allentown, PA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glenn W. Bailey, who passed away in 2023. Together, they shared 61 wonderful years of marriage. Born in Lyon’s Station, PA, she was the daughter of the late Floyd E. and Anna C. (Border) Loeb.
Millie was a waitress at the New Smithville Diner for 42 years. Prior to that, she was a seamstress for the former H.K. Deisher Knitting Mills in Kutztown, PA. She was an avid gardener, always tending to her beautiful flower beds. Millie had a love for all kinds of animals and a natural ability to connect with all creatures, great and small.
Survivors include her daughter, Jessica G. (Stephan C.) Nester of Lenhartsville, PA; sons, Jeffrey G. Bailey and his significant other, Jennifer, of Kutztown, PA, and Justin H. Bailey at home; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Earlier this year, Millie said goodbye to her loving dog, Zacky.
There will be a private graveside service held at the convenience of the family at Zion’s Union Cemetery in Kutztown, PA. Pastor Heidi Lundquist will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be sent to Forgotten Felines and Fidos, Inc., P.O. Box 62 Germansville, PA 18053.
