Merrily A. Evans

Merrily Alden Evans, 76, of Kempton, PA, formerly of Santa Clara, CA, passed away at home on April 8, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Robert J. Evans, who passed away in 2007. Born in Pittsburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Gideon T. Alden, Sr. and the late Sara Jane (Rott) Alden.

Merrily is survived by her three sons, Rich Evans of Kempton, PA, with whom she last resided, Michael Evans of Bryn Athen, PA, and Dan Evans; daughters, Freja Evans of Santa Clara, CA, and Megan Evans of ON; brother, Gideon Alden, Jr. of Kempton, PA; sisters, Joan Tuccio of Kempton, PA, Ersa Briggs and Lois Taylor, both of Phoeniz, AZ, Zanna Robertson of Kempton, PA, and Jacquilline Johns of Orlando, FL; eighteen grandchildren. Merrily was predeceased by a son, Christopher Evans. 

Merrily's services will be held at the convenience of the family.
