Mary T. (Bunganich) Vanek

Mary T. (Bunganich) Vanek, 95 of Allentown, PA, formerly of Endicott, NY, passed away at Heather Glen Senior Living in Allentown on April 13, 2026. She was the widow of Joseph J. Vanek, who passed away in 2001. Born in Johnson City, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Ann Bunganich.

Mary was employed as an assembler with Endicott Johnson Shoe Company in Endicott, NY, and later dedicated her life to being a loving homemaker and devoted mother. She was of the Roman Catholic faith.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann (Pharon) Metzger of New Tripoli, PA, and Linda Dughi of Warren Center, PA; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Carol Mitrus. Mary was the last of her siblings.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
