Marion M. (Schroeder) Hermany

Marion M. Hermany, 86, of Blandon, PA, formerly of New Tripoli and Kutztown, PA, passed away on January 6, 2024 at Keystone Villa in Blandon. Born in Albany Township, Berks County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anson J. and Virgie M. (Kuhn) Schroeder.

Marion was a 1954 graduate and Salutatorian of Kutztown High School. She later worked as a clerk for ACME Markets in Kutztown for 25 years until retiring in 1997. She was a member of New Bethel Church, Kempton, PA.

Survivors include her daughters, Dr. Debra K. Hermany of Kutztown and Susan L. (Dwayne) Scheidt of Fleetwood; sons, Steven D. (Lisa) Hermany of Benton, Regan S. Hermany of Kutztown, and Ronald N. Hermany of Fleetwood; grandchildren, Amiee, Nicole, Courtney, Kyle and Conner; great-grandchildren, Kieran, Jaxon, Ryan, Lucas, Madison, Ava, and Kendalyn. She was predeceased by her half-brother, Lawrence G. Rabert and long-time companion of 43 years, Joseph D. Feinour.

Marion’s funeral service will held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 11 AM in the Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli, with a calling hour to begin at 10 AM. Rev. Stanley Newton will officiate. Interment following funeral service in Jacob’s Union Cemetery, New Tripoli.
