Marie A. (Balliet) Dietrich

Marie A. (Balliet) Dietrich, 84, of Kempton, PA passed away on September 21, 2024 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest in Allentown, PA. She was the widow of Benjamin F. Dietrich, who passed away in 2014. Born in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Blanche (Thompson) Balliet.

Marie was a 1958 graduate of Slatington High School. She worked as a nurse's aide at the Phoebe Home in Allentown until retiring. Prior to that, she worked as a sewing room supervisor for the former Adidas Shoe Co. in Kutztown, PA.

Survivors include her sons, Dennis B. (Mary Jean) Dietrich and Randy L. (Karen) Dietrich, both of Kempton, PA; daughter, Audrey J. (Michael) Marich of Kempton; grandchildren, Casey Hoffman, Benjamin Marich, Austin (Stephanie) Marich, Julie (Bradford) Byler, Haley (Kenneth) Pilat, and Jonathan Muller; seven great-grandchildren. Marie was predeceased by her brother, Linn Balliet.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 2 PM in the Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli, PA, with a calling hour to begin at 1 PM. Interment following funeral service in Jacob’s Union Cemetery, New Tripoli. Rev. Scott L. Shay will officiate.
