Lillie (Williams) Waidelich

Lillie Waidelich, 81, of New Tripoli, Pa , passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 in the  Cornerstone Living Center- New Tripoli, Pa. She was the wife of Archie J. Waidelich, Jr.and they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in June of 2013.  She was born in Gilberton, Schyulkill County, Pa. a daughter of the late Joseph and Lillie  (Davis) Williams.  She was formerly employed by the former Atlas Powder Co- Reynoldsville, Pa and later as a nurses aide in the delivery room at the Lower Bucks County Hospital. She last worked as a waitress at the former Blue Ridge Inn, New Tripoli, Pa. Lillie was a 1952 graduate of Tamaqua High School,  She was of the protestant faith.  Survivors besides her husband includes two daughters, Ruthann wife of Roy Kunkel of Kempton, Sandra wife of Willliam Daniels, Jr.; two sons, Thomas ((Sonia) Waidelich of New Tripoli, Gary Waidelich of Allentown; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas, David, Joseph, Evan and Howard Williams.  Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 10:30 AM in the Nester Funeral Home- 8405 Kings Highway ( Rt. 143), New Tripoli, Pa. 18066, with a calling hour beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will be in New Bethel Union Cemetery, Kempton, Pa. Rev. Scott L. Shay will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory, are requested to the Altzheimers Assn. 399 Market Street,Suite 102, Phila., Pa.19106.
