Lee R. Miller, 67, of Tamaqua, PA. passed away at home on April 6, 2021. He was the husband of Ruth R. (Mantz) Miller, with whom he celebrated 46 years of marriage on April 13, 2020. Born in Allentown, PA., he was the son of the late Myles A. and Kathryn F.A. (DeLong) Miller, Sr. Lee was a 1972 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School. He was the former owner and operator of Lee Miller Used Cars and Trucks Sales in Germansville, PA. for over 35 years. Prior to that, he worked on his family farm. Lee was also the owner of L & R Collectibles in New Tripoli, PA. In Lee’s younger years, he enjoyed a lot of success racing stock cars. In his later years, he could be found watching stock car racing, whitetail hunting, operating equipment, and spending time with his grandkids. Lee was a member of the U.C.C. Congregation of Heidelberg Union Church in Slatington, PA. In addition to his loving wife, survivors include his son, Jason L. (Theresa L.) Miller of Germansville, PA.; daughter, Jennifer L. Zellner and her fiancé, Kody Neumoyer of New Tripoli, PA.; six grandchildren, Josh and Tim Zellner, Peyton Neumoyer, McKensey, Peyton, and Dylan Miller; brothers, Myles A. Miller, Jr. of Schnecksville, PA., and Harold D. (Nancy) Miller of Whitehall, PA. Lee was predeceased by a brother, Glen C. Miller. There will be a public calling period on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM followed by a private funeral service at 12:30 PM in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli, PA. 18066. Private interment in Heidelberg Union Cemetery, Slatington, PA. Pastor Nelson Quinones will officiate. Covid-19 restriction will be followed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation c/o funeral home.
