Kenneth W. “Tiny” Kunkel, 66, of Kutztown, passed away June 12, 2013 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, Pa. He was born in Allentown a son of Esther A. ( Snyder) Kunkel of Allentown, and the late Wayne H. Kunkel. He was a self employed independent truck driver for over 38 years retiring in 2000. He was a member and former church councilman of St. Paul’s U.C.C. Church Kempton, Pa. and the Mt. Zion Sr. Friends, Kutztown . He was also a 1967 Graduate of Northwestern High School, New Tripoli, Pa. Survivors besides his mother includes two daughters Victoria L. Kunkel and her companion Tim Foster of Orefield; Amanda J. wife of Jake Ostrusky of Newark , Del; a sister Diane E, wife of Fred Folland of Germansville; a brother Henry C. Kunkel of Kempton and 2 grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Paul’s U.C.C. Church 3880 Werleys Corner Rd., Kempton, Pa.19529, with a visitation period beginning at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Russell Campbell officiating, Interment in Ebenezer Union Cemetery, New Tripoli. In lieu of flowers, contributions to help defray his final expenses, may be made to the Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli,Pa.18066.
