John Logan Ryan

John Logan Ryan, 88, of Schnecksville, PA, passed away peacefully at home on October 26, 2022. He was the loving husband of Barbara A. (Olt) Ryan, with whom he celebrated over 61 years of marriage. Born and raised in Manhattan, NY, he was a son of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Logan) Ryan. John was a veteran, having served in the US Navy from 1955-1957. He worked as a credit manager for the Knoll Furniture Co. in Greenville, PA for many years. John was of the catholic faith. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his devoted wife, Barbara, survivors include his three nephews, Jim, John, and Joseph Ryan; cousin, Nancy Ryan; sister-in-law, Diane (Frank) Ovadek.

John's memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, New Tripoli, PA. Interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Queens, NY will be held at a later date.
