John J. Nelligan

John J. Nelligan, 86, of Lehighton, passed away on October 24, 2014 in Weatherwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center- Weatherly, Pa.  He was born in Bridgeport, Pa. a son of the late Clarence and Bessie ( Bernstiel) Nelligan.  He was a veteran of WWII,  having served in the US. Army.  Survivors includes his longtime companion, Mary M. Daniel, with whom he resided and locally a sister, Helen M. Faust of Jim Thorpe , Pa.  In accordance with John’s wishes, there will be no services.  Interment will take place in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.  Arrangements by the Nester Funeral Home- New Tripoli, Pa.
