Joanne Rose (Pearson) Ford

Joanne Rose (Pearson) Ford, 66, of New Tripoli, PA., passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, on December 11, 2020. She was the loving wife of Mark J. Ford, having celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on October 23, 2020. Born in Bethlehem, PA., she was the daughter of Dorothy Pearson and the late Richard Pearson, Sr. Joanne was the owner of Stained Glass Creations for 30+ years. She was a member of the Wedgewood Ladies Golf League, greatly enjoyed participating in craft shows, skiing, bowling, playing racquetball, basketball, and bingo. Joanne attended Jacob’s Church in New Tripoli. In addition to her loving husband and mother, survivors include her children, Tonia Spencer, married to Gary, Christopher Ford, married to Leslie, and Lauren Henao, married to Steven; five grandchildren, Alexandria, Reagan, and Charlotte Ford, Bodhi Henao and expected baby sister; brother, Thomas Pearson, married to Patti, and several nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Richard Jr. and James Pearson. Due to current health concerns, a celebration of life will be held near her birthday in June 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be sent to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN. 38105.
