Joan M. Kressley

Joan M. (Sherman) Kressley, 83, of New Tripoli, PA, passed away peacefully at home on September 2, 2024. She was the wife of Robert R. Kressley with whom she celebrated 62 years of marriage in August. Born in Freeland, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Neidlinger) Sherman. Joan was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church in New Tripoli.

In addition to her loving husband, Joan is survived by her son, Dale R. (Doris) Kressley of Andreas, PA; daughter, Nancy wife of Michael Moser of Germansville, PA; six grandchildren; brother, Edward Sherman of Bethlehem, PA; sisters, Carol Breidigan of New Ringgold, PA, Althea Ebert of Pottsville, PA, and Marie Abromiters of NJ. She was predeceased by brothers George, Paul, and Franklin Sherman; and a sister, Gertrude Makus.

Joan’s funeral service will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 11 AM at Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Road New Tripoli. The calling hour will begin at 10 AM. Interment following funeral in the adjoining cemetery. Pastor Brandon M. Heavner will officiate.
