Irene E. Heintzelman, 85 , of Kempton, Pa. passed away in the Kutztown Manor, on Sunday, Jan.26, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband Harold L. Heintzelman, Sr. in 1975. She was born in Allentown, a daughter of the late Francis and Edith ( Merkel) Stopp. Irene was employed as a hostess for the former Peter Pan Diner and Kuhns Motels of Kuhnsville, Allentown Pa. in the 1970’s. She was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of Ziegels Union Church, Breinigsville. She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia A. wife of Atty. David C. Najarian of Kempton, with whom she resided , Donna L. wife of Chester Heller of Sciota, Pa.; two sons Harold L. Heintzelman, Jr. and his wife Darlene, of Claussville, David H. Heintzelman of Kempton; a brother Harry Stopp of Allentown; five grandchildren, Denise Brader, Gregory Heintzelman, Angela Reppert, Jessica and Melissa Najarian and 6 great-grandchildren. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Ziegels Union Church 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, Pa. 18031, with a calling hour beginning at 10:00 AM. Rev. Bruce D. MacLaughlin, officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Contributions in her memory are requested to Ziegels Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, sent to the above church address.
