Helen C. Knepper, 98 passed away on July 25, 2014 at the home of her great granddaughter, Jessica Waidelich of Kempton, Pa. with whom she resided. She was preceeded in death by her husband John Knepper in 1976. She was born in West Penn
Township, a daughter of the late Harry and Martha ( Rex) Gerber. She was employed as a machine operator for the former Macungie Shoe factory briefly during the 1960’s. She was a membr of Jacobs Church, New Tripoli, Pa. Survivors includes a son: Paul F. Womer and his wife Iris, of Kempton, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was the last member of her siblings. Her funeral service will be held on Monday July 28, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Nester Funeral Home 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Pa. 18066, with a calling hour beginning at 10:AM. Rev. Scott L. Shay, officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Kempton Fire Co. sent C/O Funeral Home
