Grace J. (Follweiler) Stump,92, formerly of Wescoesville and Kempton, Pa. died October 2, 2014 in Kutztown, Pa. She was the wife of the late Donald C Stump, Sr. who died in 2009. They were married for 65 years prior to his passing. She was born in Albany Township, a daughter of the late George and Barbara ( Kunkel) Follweiler. Grace and her husband owned and operated Mrs. Stump’s Pastry Shop of Kempton from 1966 to 1974. Previously, Grace was employed as a cook for the Kutztown Area Senior High School. Grace was a longtime member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Stony Run, Pa. Mammy loved gardening ( especially roses), quilting, sewing, playing cards and her grandchildren. Survivors includes a daughter, Barbara J., wife of “the best son-in-law”, Daniel F. Snyder of Lenhartsville, 3 grandchildren, Terry D. Snyder husband of Wanda ( Zimmerman) of Shartlesville, Amy L. and Eric C. Stump of Milbury, MA; sisters Dorothy Maderia, Lila Lichtenwalner; brothers Wayne and Warren Follweiler. Grace was predeceased by her beloved son Donald C. ( Donnie) Stump, Jr. and her brothers George and Archie Folllweiler and an infant sister. Memorial Service: Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Friedens Lutheran Church, 9727 Red Road, Stony Run, Pa. 19529, with a visitation period beginning at 10:00 am. Rev. Richard J. Mauthe will officiate . Private interment in adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions may be made to the Friedens Luth. Church Memorial Fund, sent to above church address.
