Glenn W. Bailey

Glenn W. Bailey 82, of Lenhartsville, PA passed away on June 17, 2023 at home. He was the husband of Mildred D. (Loeb) Bailey with whom he celebrated 61 years of marriage in May of 2023. Born in Kempton, PA, he was a son of the late Harold H. and Marguerite L. (Kemmerling) Bailey. Glenn was a veteran having served his country in the US Air Force from 1959-1963. He was an independent truck driver for many years until retiring in 2013. Prior to that he drove truck for the Chemical Leaman Trucking Co. for 20 years. Glenn was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish.

In addition to his loving wife Millie, he is survived by his daughter Jessica G. (Stephan) Nester of Lenhartsville, PA; sons, Jeffrey G. Bailey of Kutztown, PA, and Justin H. Bailey at home; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister Alice M. Follweiler of Denton, NC; brothers Richard W. Bailey and Terry L. (Cathy) Bailey both of Kempton; several nieces and nephews; his beloved dog, Zacky. Glenn was predeceased by his brothers Roy A. Bailey, Harold H. Bailey, Jr., and Dale D. Bailey.

There will be a private graveside service held at the convenience of the family on Zion’s Union Cemetery in Kutztown, PA. Rev. Dr. Robert Santucci will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amercian Cancer Society https://donate.cancer.org
