Georgeann K. (Schmidbauer) Ulrich

Georgeann K. (Schmidbauer) Ulrich, 76, of Kutztown, PA, passed away on June 14, 2023 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit in Allentown, PA.  She was the loving wife of Norman A. Ulrich, Jr., having celebrated their 56th anniversary in September of 2022. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of the late George J. and Assunta (Peruzzi) Schmidbauer. Georgeann was a 1965 graduate of Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, PA.

In addition to her husband, Norman, she is survived by her daughter, Kimberly A. and husband Brian Trexler, Kempton, PA; sons, Norman A. Ulrich, III and wife Heather, Oley, PA, and George M. Ulrich and wife Luanne, Douglasville, PA; grandchildren, Norman A. Ulrich, IV, Jenna Ulrich, Alysha Ulrich, Casey Trexler and husband Josh Owen, Jairus Trexler and wife Ashley, and Amber and husband Andrew Dietrich; sister, Suzette Bent of TN; brother, George J. Schmidbauer, Jr. and wife Beth Ann, Bristol, PA; three nephews and one niece. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Ann M. Wachtendorf.

Georgeann’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli, PA, with a calling period from 9:30-11:00 AM. Interment immediately following service in Ebenezer Union Cemetery, New Tripoli. Rev. Stanley Newton will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and/or PA Veteran’s Memorial Trust Fund, C/O funeral home address.
