George W. Allan

George W. Allan, 78, of Belleview, FL, formerly of Pottsville, PA, passed away on January 14, 2026, at UF Health Hospital in Leesburg, FL. He was the loving husband of Roma M. (Uhler) Allan, with whom he shared 22 years of marriage. Born in Pottsville, PA, George was the son of the late Gavin R. Allan and Alice (Childs) Allan. He was a graduate of St. Clair Area High School, Pottsville, PA.

George dedicated his career to public service, working as a Homeland Security Captain and previously serving as a police officer in Leesport and Hamburg, PA. He was a proud member of Cressona Lodge No. 222 F&AM, Valley of Reading Consistory, and the Rajah Shrine.

In addition to his devoted wife, Roma, George is survived by his daughter, Amy Jennings of Kutztown, PA; stepdaughters, Lynette Kline of Kutztown, PA, and Cheryl Rothrock of Belleview, FL; stepsons, Bruce Berger of Shoemakersville, PA, and Michael Berger of Leesport, PA; fourteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Private interment will take place in Ziegel’s Union Cemetery, Breinigsville, PA. The Rev..Larry Pickens will officiate
