Gary P. Womer

Gary P. Womer, 66, of Kempton, PA. passed away on November 11, 2018 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA., surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Allentown, PA., a son to Paul F. Womer of Kempton, PA. and the late Shirley M. (Kuhns) Womer.  Gary worked for the Weisenberg Elementary School, in the maintenance department, from 1980-1985.  Prior to that, he worked for the former Bamburger and Kistler Gas Station in New Tripoli, PA. He was a member of Jacob’s Church in New Tripoli, PA. In addition to his father and step-mother, Iris D. (Steigerwalt) Womer, Gary is survived by two daughters, Stephanie M. wife of Matthew Watson of New Tripoli, PA., and Jessica L. wife of Paul Waidelich of Kempton, PA.; four grandchildren, Kyle and Kimberlyn Watson, and Melissa and Joseph Waidelich; and a sister, Eileen L. wife of Donald Myers of Germansville, PA.  He was predeceased by a step-sister, Jennifer A. Snyder.  A private graveside interment will be held at the convenience of the family on the Ebenezer Union Cemetery, New Tripoli, PA. Rev. Scott L. Shay will officiate.
