Gary L. Miller

Gary L. Miller, 73 years of age, of Clamtown Road Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Twp. Born Monday, April 19, 1948 in Reynolds, Pennsylvania the son of the late William F., and Erma (Bensinger) Miller.  Gary was also predeceased by; brothers, Daniel R. Miller, Infant brother Terry Miller. Surviving are brothers, Bertram K. Miller and his wife Marie of Tamaqua,  Paul E. Miller and his late wife Helen of Tamaqua,  William  F. Miller and his wife Connie of Andreas.  Many nieces and nephews also survive Gary. Gary served honorably having been awarded medals of valor in the Vietnam War. Gary was a Purple Heart recipient, for injuries sustained during combat.  A lifelong truck driver, Gary belonged to the Tamaqua American Legion, and the West Penn rod & Gun Club, having served as a Past President.  He enjoyed the company of his dog, and never turned down a good meal with friends, and family. 

Gary's funeral service will be held on July 8, 2021 at 11 o'clock A.M. in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960. Friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services on Thursday morning. Military honors will be bestowed at the funeral home on Thursday. Interment will be in Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, Pennsylvania. Memorials contributions in his name may be sent to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors at1117 Country Club Drive Camp Hill Pennsylvania 17011.
