Eugene W. "Moe" Hamm, Jr.

Eugene W. “Moe” Hamm, Jr., 63, of Allentown, PA, formerly of Palmerton, PA, passed away at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Allentown on July 1, 2022. He was born in Allentown, a son of the late Eugene W. Hamm, Sr. and the late Pearl G. (Berger) Hamm. Eugene was a graduate of Palmerton High School. He was a member of Living Hope Lighthouse Church in Palmerton. Survivors include his brothers, David L. (Donna M.) Berger of New Tripoli, PA, LeRoy R. (Bonnie) Berger of Lebanon, PA; sisters, Darlene A. Weisser of Wagoner, OK, Anna M. Berger of Belpre, OH, Carolyn Shay and Evelyn Barber, both of Scranton, PA, Marion Baus-Imbody of Phila., PA, Eleanor Marchetti of Sugarloaf, PA, and Barbara Jackson of Orange Park, FL; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son, Edwin Laubach, Jr., and brothers, Russell Berger, Sr., Alvin Hamm, Edward Berger, Paul Berger, and Richard Hamm. There will be a graveside service held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM on Dinkey Memorial Cemetery, 1742 Dinkey Road Ashfield, PA 18212. In memory of Moe, please wear your favorite sports and/or racing attire to his service. In lieu of flowers, contributions to help off-set Eugene’s final expenses may be made to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home at 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli, PA 18066.
