Ella Mae (Snyder) Feinour-Hemerly

Ella Mae (Snyder) Feinour-Hemerly, 89, of New Tripoli, PA passed away in the Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, NY on September 5, 2018.  She was the wife of the late Robert A. Feinour, who died in 1963, and the late John W. Hemerly, Jr., who died in 2009.  She was born in Lynn Township, PA. a daughter to the late Menno B. and Irene Mae (Klingaman) Snyder. She was a graduate of the former Joyce Art School of Cosmetology in Allentown, PA.  Ella Mae was a housewife and worked briefly as a seamstress for the former Fernbrook Fashions at Neffs and Palmerton, PA. until 2000. She was a member of Jacob’s Church, New Tripoli, PA and a member of the Lynnport Fire Co.,where she volunteered for many years.  She was also a member of Rose Croix Chapter # 235 Order of the Eastern Star, Coplay, PA.  Survivors include two daughters, Sheila E. Falstick of Lynnport, PA, and Susan J. wife of Dr. Barry L. Fetherolf of Endicott, NY.; sister, Jean Z. Resetco of Santa Ysabel, CA.; grandchildren, Taryn Jean and Jarod Keith Fetherolf and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her two husbands, Ella Mae was also predeceased by her son, Keith R. Feinour.  Her funeral service will be on September 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM. in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli, PA 18066, with a calling hour to begin at 10:00 AM.  O.E.S. service at 10:45 AM. Interment immediately following service at Jacob’s Union Cemetery, New Tripoli, PA.  Pastor Ruth C. Schaefer will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be mailed directly to the Lynnport Fire Co. at 7164 Behler Rd, New Tripoli, PA 18066.
