Eddie P. Zettlemoyer

Eddie P. Zettlemoyer, 67, of New Tripoli, PA., passed away in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA. on January 17, 2021. He was the husband of the late Barbara T. Zettlemoyer, who passed away only two days before him on January 15, 2021. Eddie was born in Reading, PA., a son of the late Edwin P. and Alice K. (Leibensperger) Zettlemoyer. He was a 1971 graduate of Kutztown Area High School, and later worked as a self-employed home improvement contractor in the Lehigh County area for many years until retiring in 1996. Eddie enjoyed hunting and fishing and educating himself on the customs and beliefs of his American Indian heritage. Survivors include his sons, Richard H. (Rita) Reinhart and Russell J. (Millie) Rogers, both of New Tripoli, PA.; nine grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Kathryn A. Shirey of Temple, PA. He was predeceased by his brother, Irwin Zettlemoyer. There will be a joint memorial service for Eddie and Barbara on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Hope Community Church, 7974 Clausville Road Fogelsville, PA. 18051, with a calling period to begin at 10:00 AM. COVID-19 restrictions will be adhered to. Rev. Ken Kalisz will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Eddie’s name can be sent to the Wolf Sanctuary of PA, 465 Speedwell Forge Road Lititz, PA. 17543.
