Earl A. Ohl, 62, of New Tripoli, PA. passed away in his home on February 8, 2021. Born in Allentown, PA., he was the son of the late Earl W. and Theresa M. (Yacobenas) Ohl. He was a 1977 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School and a 1979 graduate of Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in Lancaster, PA. Earl was employed as a bus driver for Kistler Transportation in New Ringgold, PA., and previously worked as a bus driver and mechanic for the Northwestern Lehigh School District. He was the former Assistant Chief of the former Northwestern Ambulance Corps in New Tripoli, PA. Survivors include his brother, Michael J. Ohl, at home; sisters, Marie J. (Gary) Salabsky of Defiance, OH., and Ann T. (Wayne) Horn of New Tripoli, PA.; several nieces, nephews, and friends. There will be a public calling hour on Saturday February 20, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 AM in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli, PA. 18066, followed by a private memorial service. Private interment in Ebenezer Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Earl’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society c/o the funeral home.
