Dorothy K. (Koenig) Hermany

Dorothy K. Hermany, 88, of New Tripoli, PA. passed away in her residence on Saturday, August 4, 2018. She was the wife of the late Elmer K. Hermany who died in 1979.  She was born in West Penn Township, PA. a daughter to the late Calvin and Cora Catherine (Long) Koenig.  Dorothy was a former employee of Atlas Powder Co. in Reynolds, PA for over 42 years eventually retiring in 1991.  She was of the Protestant Faith. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, a godchild Lisa Wilsey and friends.  Dorothy was predeceased by sisters, Mildred Assalita, Florence Ruch, Anna Melovich, Helen Leibensperger, infant Marion Koenig; brothers, George Koenig, Charles Koenig, Bernard Koenig and a step-brother, Willard Koenig. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM. in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway New Tripoli, PA 18066, with a calling hour to begin at 10:00 AM.Rev. Gary Whittington will officiate  Interment immediately following the service will be at Jacobs Union Cemetery, New Tripoli, PA.
