Dorothy S. (Stauffer) Bailey

Dorothy S. Bailey, 91, of Boyertown, PA., formerly of Bechtelsville, PA., passed away at Chestnut Knoll Assisted Living Facility in Boyertown, PA., on December 28, 2020. She was the wife of the late Vernon H. Bailey, who passed away in 2019. Born in Bally, PA., she was the daughter of the late Clarence W. and Lizzie (Fox) Stauffer. Dorothy was a registered nurse and worked for the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center for 35 years until retiring in 1991. She was a member of Shephard of the Hills U.C.C. Church in Bechtelsville, PA. and a member of the Allentown Hospital Alumni Association. Survivors include her daughter, Jean B. wife of Edward Wood, Perkiomenville, PA.; two grandchildren, Joshua (Bonnie) Wood and Alyssa Wood; one great-grandchild, Charlee Wood; sister, Shirley Mack, FL. Private interment on New Bethel Union Cemetery, Kempton, PA.
