Doris H. (Smith) Weisner-Miller

Doris H. (Smith) Weisner-Miller, 79, of Kempton, PA, passed away on April 6, 2023 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA. She was the wife of Russell H. Miller and the late Richard A. Weisner, who passed away in 2007. Born in Allentown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Howard E. and Hattie E. (Schaller) Smith. Doris was a 1961 graduate of Northwestern High School. She was a member of Bridge Church in Hamburg, PA.

In addition to her loving husband, Russell, she is survived by her son, Thomas R. (Joy) Weisner of Fleetwood; daughters, Cathy D. Weisner of Kempton, Janet H. Weisner of Kempton, Karen E. Weisner of Shoemakersville, and Kelly A. Weisner, at home; stepson, Mark (Laura) Miller of Kempton; stepdaughter, Lynette (Steven) Daniels of New Tripoli; sisters, Irene M. (Tim) Betz of Catasauqua, Jean Mae Smith of Alburtis, Edith E. (Roger) Knappenberger of Coopersburg, Faye M. (Thomas) Foulk of New Tripoli, Shirley S. Smith of Emmaus, and Joyce G. Smith of Macungie; four grandchildren, Damien, Olivia, Gavin, and Cohen; five step-grandchildren, Mason, Mitchell, McCoy, Owen, and Evan.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Bridge Church, 3561 Old Route 22 Hamburg, PA, with a calling hour to begin at 10:00 AM.  Interment in Frieden’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Stony Run, PA. Rev. Mark S. Caston will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to her church sent directly to the address above.
