Doris J. “Dolly” Billig, 75, of New Tripoli, Pa. passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Allentown, Pa, She was the wife of Paul G. Billig, Sr., having celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary in December of 2016. She was born in Bernville, Pa. a daughter of the late Milton and Edna (Reichard) Correll.
She worked with her husband on their family farm since their marriage. She was also busy taking care of and raising her family. Dolly was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of Jerusalem (Red) Church, Kempton, Pa.and the Lynnport Fire Co. Survivors besides her husband includes two daughters, Judy S.(Thomas) Lichtenwalner, Kempton and Cindy L. (Darryl J.) Feinour, New Tripoli; a sister Shirley Billig, Mohrsville; three brothers, Robert Correll, Lenhartsville, Kenneth and Barry Correll of Hamburg, Pa.and two grandchildren, Kayla Feinour and Brandon Billig. She was predeceased by her son Paul G. Billig, Jr.
Her funeral sevice will be held on Tuesday March 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, Pa.18066, with a calling hour beginning at 10:00 AM. Robert J. Billig will officiate. Private interment in Jerusalem (Red) Church Cemetery, Kempton. The family requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, to help offset her final expenses.
