Darlene R. (Kressley) Smith

Darlene R. Smith, 82, of Germansville, PA, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Unit in Allentown, PA. She was the widow of Marvin W. Smith, who passed away in 1997. Born in New Tripoli, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Roma (Hunsicker) Kressley.

Darlene was a 1961 graduate of Northwestern High School in New Tripoli. She was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church in New Tripoli. Darlene worked as a hostess for the former Papa’s Restaurant in Schnecksville, but her greatest joy was raising her family and helping on her family farm.

Survivors include her son, Kevin L. Smith and his companion, Betty Dean, of Germansville; daughter, Connie A. (Dale) Schmidt of Germansville; granddaughters, Danielle (Jarett) White, Katie Schmidt, and Melanie Schmidt; great-grandsons, Dayton and Dalton White. She was predeceased by her brother, Gerald Kressley.

Darlene's memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Road, New Tripoli. The calling hour will begin at 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment in adjoining cemetery. Rev. Brandon M. Heavner will officiate.
