Christopher R.J. Smith

Christopher R. J. Smith, 83, of Kempton, PA, passed away peacefully at home on February 11, 2025. He was the husband of Heather P. Smith, with whom he celebrated 30 years of marriage in December of 2024. Born in Harrismith, South Africa, he was the son of the late Claude J. and Renee A. (Mayer) Smith.

Christopher was last affiliated with Kempton New Church, performing pastoral services and teaching at the church school.

In addition to his loving wife, Heather, he is survived by his sons, Justin, Malcolm, Edmond, and Aaron; daughters, Gillian, Carolyn, Danielle, and Cara; and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.

Christopher’s service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 2 PM in Kempton New Church.
